It can be frustrating trying to stay up to date with all things Fair Housing. This seminar not only covers all the latest fair housing rulings, but you will develop a greater understanding of laws that prohibit discrimination in housing, learn which classes are protected from housing discrimination, examine prohibited acts, review potential liability and enforcement for violations, and explore strategies for compliance. You will also learn how to apply the laws to common considerations regarding assistance animals.

About the Instructor: Kristen Wills
Kristen Wills is an associate attorney at Brownlee Whitlow & Praet, PLLC, a law firm that provides a full range of legal services to the multifamily industry throughout NC, SC, and GA. She is active on the Government Affairs committee at GFAA and the Public Relations/Community Service committee at TAA. Kristen graduated summa cum laude at NC Agricultural and Technical State University for her undergraduate career before beginning her studies at North Carolina Central University School of Law. While in law school, she was a member of the Moot Court Board and a student advocate for the Juvenile and Trademark law clinics. Kristen arrived at Brownlee, Whitlow, & Praet as an Associate Attorney and has experience practicing law in areas including landlord-tenant law and community association representation.
